Prints From The Darkroom : Art For A Cause
This magical place is a wonder and one of the wonders of the world. As you ascend to the summit, the view is so breathtaking, that it stops you in your tracks. My attempt with this photo was to create an image that hopefully provides a perspective of the ancient site in a slow dance with the Andes Mountains.
Machu Picchu is a famous Inca city in Peru, built around the 15th century. It is located in the eastern Andes of Peru and is a symbol of the Inca civilization’s greatness. The Incas were highly intelligent creative people as demonstrated in their engineering and planning skills in the construction of Machu Picchu. The ancient city’s design and infrastructure showcase the Incas’ advanced civil, hydraulic, and geotechnical engineering abilities.
